Daphne is a forester with over 18 years of international experience specializing in sustainable forest management and governance. She has substantial hands-on experience supporting private sector engagement in development, particularly focusing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and strengthening sustainable value chains. Daphne has proven leadership in guiding corporate governance strategies on social responsibility and fostering company-community relationships, as well as assessing forest governance systems for transparency, efficiency and sustainability; impact monitoring; and compliance to international standards. She is a creative problem solver with excellent communication, presentation and team-building skills, confident working in both English and Spanish.
