Associates
We want to be sure that for every job we do, we’ve provided just the right person for the task at hand; often this will be one of our staff consultants. However if the client needs a specific skill set which is outside of our capacity, or if our in-house staff are unavailable, then we look to our wide network of associates to provide additional skills.
We are not a ‘body-shop.’ Our aim is to develop and invest in a global network of consultants who have skills and experiences that compliment our work, a proven track record of delivering high quality results, with whom we have a professional working relationship. We are keen to establish and develop relationships with our associates; we need to be able to work effectively together and guarantee quality and reliability to our clients, just as we do for our own in-house staff.
The type of people that we engage as associates are, broadly:
Development professionals: able to provide skills and experiences relevant to one or more of our portfolios, or with skills in cross-cutting areas such as: project and programme design, institutional reform, private sector development, public financial management, political economy, economic and social analysis, and monitoring and evaluation; and
Programme specialists: who we engage to work on specific projects, depending on requirements. This may include: team leaders (particularly for long-term overseas postings); grant fund managers; project managers; accountants; linguists; graphic designers; survey designers; researchers; workshop facilitators; etc.
If you feel that your skills and experience would complement our business, then we want to hear from you. Please send your CV to recruitment@theIDLgroup.com.
