Steve Ashley is a Director and Principal Consultant of theIDLgroup, having been one of the original Directors and shareholders of IDL. Steve specialises in supporting pro-poor policy, planning and institutional reform processes. He is a highly effective analyst and facilitator of change processes, policy dialogues and planning events, often engaging repeatedly over a period of years. He has also regularly conceptualised, designed, reviewed, and evaluated both donor and government development policies, strategies, programmes, and projects. Steve's work is characterised by strategic thinking, an understanding of poverty, and an institutional change management perspective.
