Rachel Alvarez-Reyes Senior Consultant

Dr. Rachel Alvarez-Reyes has over 14 years international development experience, 9 of those within a consultancy capacity.   Most of her work has been on developing better approaches to governance challenges, incorporating those ideas into both programme design and the design of monitoring and impact assessment tools and frameworks. She has particular expertise in governance, integrity and transparency programmes in the infrastructure, construction, and local government sectors. Rachel has worked on several projects on the effectiveness of anti-corruption strategies and institutions in developing countries, and on assessing the use of ‘National Integrity Systems’ to combat corruption. Her work engages a wide range of stakeholders from central and local Governments, the private sector and civil society.
