Josephine Tsui Research Consultant |
Josephine Tsui is a Research Consultant working mainly in the Rural Livelihoods and Social Development portfolios, most recently (2010) in Ethiopia and Kenya. Her past work in Zambia and Ghana has brought experience in value chains and farmer groups’ development. Prior to joining theIDLgroup in 2009, Josephine was a researcher at the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission of Europe)working to bring an economic perspective to women’s rights and to provide examples of how countries can integrate a gender analysis in a variety of policy areas. Through her work experience she has developed skills in project management, multicultural facilitation, and gender analysis.
Her recent assignments with theIDLgroup have included:

Josephine holds her masters degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies in Globalisation and Development. Her dissertation focused on horizontal gender segregations of agricultural (cocoa and shea nut) value chains in Ghana.
