Dom Morris Research Consultant

Dominic has a multi-disciplinary background focusing upon Governance, Conflict, Security and Development, with a particular interest in the security-development-nexus and the political economy of conflict and development. Dominic has field experience in Africa and Eastern Europe focusing on both consultancies and research. His work has involved engagement with national governments, international development agencies and national NGOs. Hands-on skills include research and analysis, project/programme design and implementation as well as monitoring and evaluation.  Dominic’s field based experience is complimented by strong desk based research, analysis and writing skills, particularly in the field of monitoring and evaluation. His recent work includes a synthesis piece to inform Pakistan’s Country Governance Analysis, a DFID commissioned desk study clarifying the comparative advantages and complementarity of multi-donor trust funds, and an evaluation of GTZ’s Facilitating Local Initiatives for Conflict Transformation Programme and a review of British Statebuilding efforts in Sierra Leone.
