Aoife McCullough Consultant

With 8 years experience working in development, Aoife specializes in the political economy of governance in fragile states. Before joining theIDLgroup, Aoife worked in the humanitarian sector, managing emergency response programmes in Niger, DRC and India. Aoife’s field-based experience is complemented by strong analytical and research skills including experience in designing and conducting socio-economic surveys, and developing governance indicators. Her recent work with theIDLgroup includes a socio-economic baseline survey for an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment on behalf of ArcelorMittal in Liberia, supporting the OECD International Dialogue on Peacebuilding and Statebuilding to develop a set of recommendations for planning in Fragile States, Country Governance Assessments in Pakistan and Zambia, and supporting the Ministry of Federal Affairs in Ethiopia to identify and collect data on key sector indicators to measure the development gaps in the poorest regions.
